*Complete a 60 hour prelicense course
*Take and pass (70%) the State Real Estate Exam.
*Interview with companies you like. Compare what each company offers you in the way of training and support to help you succeed quickly. Contact Anne Powell at 251-709-0019 or e-mail , for a list of questions to ask brokers during an interview.
*Choose a broker and apply to the Alabama Real Estate Commission for a temporary license, which is held by your broker. You are able to begin your Real Estate career when your broker receives this license.
Attend company training, begin building your business, and complete the 30 Hour Post License Course.
*Apply for an Original Salesperson's License.
*Continue your business development through additional programs offered by your company and your Board of Realtors®.
