In 1946, two young brothers returned from serving their country in World War II and opened a real estate company in the garage of their parents' home in Mobile, Alabama.

John and David Roberts were part of "The Greatest Generation" and through their work ethic, character and entrepreneurial spirit, they formed a company to offer property ownership opportunities for thousands of Mobilians.

And 65 years later, the name, Roberts Brothers, Inc., is still known for integrity, professionalism and results.

In 2005, the company was purchased by HomeServices of America, Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway Affiliate. HomeServices, based in Minneapolis, the second-largest-full-service independent residential real estate brokerage firm in the United States.

Johnny Roberts, Jr., a second generation REALTOR ® and Chairman Emeritus, serves alongside Daniel A. Dennis IV,  President, as they continue to lead the company through the current challenges and opportunities of the South Alabama real estate market.
